About the Track

“AHURA MAZDA” is a high-energy, intensely vibrant release by ARIYA and MAHBOD, blending modern electronic power with the ancient spirit of Persia. The centerpiece of the track is a narration performed in Old Persian — a real language spoken over 2,500 years ago.

The narration is a modern re-imagining of King Xerxes’ stone inscription near Lake Van, where he declares his divine authority granted by Ahura Mazda, the supreme god in the Zoroastrian pantheon.

This release is not just music — it is a sonic resurrection of imperial legacy.

Philosophy of the Song

AHURA MAZDA carries a unique feature rarely seen in modern electronic music: the use of a 2,500-year-old ancient Iranian language. The Old Persian spoken text comes from the Xerxes I inscription at Lake Van, the only Achaemenid royal inscription located outside of Iran.

“Ahuramazda is the greatest of gods… He made me king — king of kings, ruler of many nations.”

By merging this historic proclamation with a modern electronic cinematic soundscape, the track connects ancient royalty with contemporary energy in a powerful, immersive way.

About ARIYA

Ariya, also known as “Charsedo”, is an Istanbul-based producer and performer whose sound blends melodic harmony with deep rhythmic drive — music designed to move both the legs and the heart.

His musical journey began at age seven, when he first started playing keyboards, and by age twelve, he had already composed his first song. His professional career launched in 2000 with the release of his first track “Recovery”.

Between 2000 and 2013 he produced film scores, teasers, commercial sound design and various media soundtracks. In 2013 he founded two record labels: Parsi Records and Kestawex Records, both of which remain active today.

Over the past decade, he completed more than 2,500 hours of advanced music production training in collaboration with his longtime friend Mehran Abbasi, one of the top FL Studio power-users.

In 2017, Ariya established ARIYA PRODUCTION LTD. in Istanbul — a company specializing in event organization, large-scale entertainment productions, and artist management.

MAHBOD is a rising Iranian electronic music producer and DJ known for his dynamic performances across Turkey, Cyprus, Oman, and Dubai. With more than 280 live shows and a rapidly growing global audience, he has become a recognizable figure in the Middle Eastern club scene.
